Through deep analysis of user insights and historical performance metrics, we developed a strong, consumer-centric design and engaging content with optimized features and functionality—creating a purposeful pre-commerce experience and getting shoppers one click away from purchase.

The updated site was responsively designed to not only extend the new look and feel of Perdue’s packaging but also optimize for mobile, given that 80% of site visitors were viewing via phones and tablets.

With a retail mindset, we looked to connect the consumer’s journey from planning to purchase by creating a pre-commerce experience. This was accomplished by cross-promoting products and recipes, as well as giving consumers the ability to move a recipe’s ingredients directly to their preferred retailer’s online cart or their nearest store location.

The “Where to Buy” feature was enhanced knowing that consumers would likely be using it on the go, via a mobile device. This functionality was simplified to allow for quicker searches for specific products, preferred retailers, and the closest locations.

Recipe pages were reimagined to inspire and guide consumers through step-by-step preparation guides, companion video content, nutritional details and featured products recommended for purchase.
