Snacklins

Snacklins™ started as a vegan pork rind, but in testing, we ran into two problems. One, vegans are offended by the idea of a pork rind, and two, pork rind eaters are offended by the idea of a vegan. After thorough testing, we landed on the concept of a puffed veggie crisp, and with the new terminology came new packaging, a brand story, character development and more.

Our packaging needed to be flexible, so it would billboard no matter what new flavor was added. We developed our character, Jack, as an homage to the creator of Snacklins.

We wanted to make sure to protect the brand we developed, so our guidelines carried the story and rules for the brand moving forward, in a completely brand-appropriate way.
